Evan for Ypsi

Greetings,

My name is Evan Sweet. As you may know, I currently serve you and our Ward 3 neighbors on Ypsilanti City Council. 

In July of 2022, I was appointed to Ypsilanti City Council to fill a short-term vacancy, and then reappointed in January of 2023 to complete a term through 2024. Now, I am working hard to seek election to retain this seat on Ypsilanti City Council, and I am counting on your support on or before August 6th. 

I believe my current experience on City Council and background in public service make me the best candidate for this role. I have over a decade of experience in municipal government, including working for Canton Township, serving on the City of Ypsilanti Parks & Recreation Committee, and serving on the Board of Directors for the Ypsilanti Senior Center.
